Arizona F.

Arizona is a graduate of Harvard University, where she completed her Master’s in Theological Studies, and of New College of Florida, where she earned a B.A. in International Relations with a secondary focus in Religion. She is currently a Teaching Fellow at Barnard College, supporting courses in politics, culture, and religion.

Arizona has over six years of experience in higher education, working at the intersection of academic writing and storytelling. She has demonstrated expertise in guiding students through essay-based applications to competitive higher education programs. As a tutor, she is committed to making the writing process both accessible and personalized. Her coaching centers on three core goals: breaking down the often-daunting writing process into manageable steps, helping students amplify authenticity in their writing, and thinking strategically about what particular programs are looking for.

Arizona especially enjoys working with first-generation and neurodivergent students to demystify higher education and academic writing. She believes that everyone already has a story worth telling and customizes each tutoring experience to fit the student’s unique needs and aspirations. She looks forward to providing writing support, college admissions advising, and executive function coaching to your student.

In her free time, Arizona enjoys dancing Bachata and Salsa, listening to sci-fi audiobooks, and watching wonderfully terrible romance movies with friends.
